BGK’s representative office in Brussels
BGK’s representative office in Brussels represents the bank in contacts with European and financial institutions, monitors and shapes legislatives processes and works with other development banks and associations present in Brussels. BGK, the state development bank, is one of key institutions that implement the Strategy for Responsible Growth. BGK finances and supports development processes in Poland, manages European programs and distributes EU funds. The opening of its foreign representative office in Brussels has allowed to effectively monitor legislative processes related to, among other things, works on a new financial framework for 2021-2027, and to team up with international financial institutions, foreign development banks and representatives of European institutions. Representatives of BGK’s Brussels office attend meetings with representatives of EU institutions, the European Investment Bank and the European Investment Fund and also represent the bank at conferences, workshops and meetings.
