Bank Gospodarstwa Krajowego is committed to making its website accessible in accordance with the provisions of the Act of 4 April 2019 on digital accessibility of websites and mobile applications of public entities. This accessibility statement applies to the website of Bank Gospodarstwa Krajowego.

This website is partially compliant with the Act of 4 April 2019 on digital accessibility of websites and mobile applications of public entities due to the non-compliances listed below.

The website contains content that, due to objective reasons, could not be fully adapted (these include grant applications and other documents not originally written by Bank Gospodarstwa Krajowego).

The website contains archival materials that graphically present some of the processes and programmes of Bank Gospodarstwa Krajowego. Due to their archival nature, there is no need to adapt such materials.

It is possible that some of the documents not listed on the website are unavailable due to the fact that they were published before the entry into force of the Digital Accessibility Act.

Architectural accessibility

Bank Gospodarstwa Krajowego currently occupies the VARSO 2 building at ul. Chmielna 73, 00-801 Warsaw. The public spaces are not unlimitedly accessible to the public. It is necessary to register at the reception desk, make an appointment with a bank employee and collect an access card.

The main entrance is from ul. Chmielna. It is accessed by two pairs of revolving doors and a swing door, adapted to the needs of people in wheelchairs, located on the right side of the revolving door. In front of the door on the right, at a height accessible to people in wheelchairs, there is a contact device for the security of the building.  In the inner hall, next to the revolving door, which acts as an exit, there is a button that slows down the operation of the rotary mechanism, adapting it to the needs of people in wheelchairs.

Main entrance from Al. Jerozolimskie is equipped with revolving doors and two pairs of single hinged doors. Due to the building's separation from the pedestrian area of Al. Jerozolimskie with a car park, we recommend entering the building from ul. Chmielna.

In the hall on the ground floor, on the right side, there is a reception desk, whose top of various heights meets the needs of shorter people or people in wheelchairs.

Behind the reception, there are access gates adapted to the needs of people with special needs, which are automatically opened after using the access card.

Moving around the building. The bank occupies floors 4-8. Entry is possible with an access card at the reception. There are no architectural obstacles on the way to the entrance to the building, on the ground floor, on the way to the elevators and rooms on the floors.

Additionally:

  • Provision of tactile signs for visually impaired people along the edge of the aisle.
  • Provision of curb ramps at the pedestrian crossing.
  • Entrances from the garage levels to the lobby with lifts are equipped with automatic sliding doors, located close to parking spaces for people with disabilities, or with hinged doors.
  • Marking of transparent doors.
  • Ensuring appropriate parameters of the handrail by the stairs and the even and non-slip surface of the stairs.
  • Visual marking of step edges.
  • Accessibility of all relevant floors by passenger lifts and stairs.
  • Common space provides appropriate contrasts.

Lifts are adapted to the transport of persons with disabilities, they have, among others, door lock inhibition system, handrails and audible information and voice communicators inside the cabins.

Bathrooms for the persons with disabilities are available on each floor. On the ground floor, the adapted bathrooms are located in the transverse main hall, to the right of the reception desk.

Guests are allowed to move around only in the company of a bank employee, so persons with disabilities may always count on the help and support of the bank employees.

Evacuation procedures take into account people with disabilities.

Parking place. In front of the building on ul. Chmielna, there are three dedicated parking spaces for  people with disabilities. Such places are also located in the underground car park, available upon receipt of a ticket.

Guide dog. It is possible to enter and move around the building with a guide dog.

Sign language interpreter. The bank is in the process of adjusting its tools to enable remote connection with a sign interpreter.

The building has a certificate of accessibility no. A 300/709 for people with disabilities issued by the foundation, confirming that the building meets the requirements of architectural accessibility and is adapted to the needs of people with various types of disabilities.

Other locations of the headquarters:

Al. Jerozolimskie 81 - Central Tower. The rooms occupied by the Bank  are not accessible in an unlimited way. Guests are required to report to the reception desk and indicate the employee with whom they have an appointment. There is a room access control on each floor of the bank.

The main entrance is from ul. Tytus Chałubiński, corner of Al. Jerozolimskie. Revolving doors and swing doors lead to the entrance.

The entrance to the building is adapted to the needs of the people with disabilities, there are no architectural obstacles.

There is a reception desk in the hall on the ground floor opposite the entrance. On the left side of the reception there are lifts adapted to the needs of people with disabilities.

Moving around the building. The Bank is located on floors 1-6. People from outside (guests) entering the building are required to report to the reception desk located opposite the entrance. Entry is possible after contacting the employee with whom the appointment is made.

There are no architectural obstacles on the way to the entrance to the building, on the ground floor, on the way to the elevators and rooms on the floors.

Lifts are adapted to transport people in wheelchairs.

The bathrooms are adapted to the needs of the people with disabilities are available on each floor. The ground floor bathrooms are currently being adapted to the needs of people with disabilities.

Guests are allowed to move around only in the company of a bank employee, so people with disabilities can always count on the help and support of the bank employees.

Parking place. In Al. Jerozolimskie and on ul. Nowogrodzka, there are widely accessible parking spaces designated for people with disabilities, there are no architectural barriers between them and the building.

Assistance dog. It is possible to enter and move around the building with an assistance dog.

Sign language interpreter. The bank is in the process of adjusting its tools to enable remote connection with a sign interpreter.
