President of BGK among experts of the New International Policy Office to advise Polish President
Polish President Andrzej Duda appointed Beata Daszyńska-Muzyczka to the International Policy Office. The president of BGK is among the representatives from academic and public institutions. The first meeting of the Office was held on April 15 at the Presidential Palace.
International Policy Office of the President of the Republic of Poland is a forum of experts and advisors dealing with the most important issues of Polish foreign policy.
„They are the ones who specialize in economic and financial issues. They are the representatives of those who on a daily basis deal with issues related to history, culture and those elements, that are of crucial importance in implementing international policy in the broad sense” – said the president. He explained that the Office is intended to serve “the debate, discussion, evaluation and indication”.
The president emphasized that Poland is faced with a great development chance, also in the economic dimension. He talked about that in terms of building Poland’s security with NATO’s support, developing own military facilities, Polish participation in UN, EU or Three Seas.
“I would like to thank the President very much for entrusting me with this honorable role. We will do everything in order for the Three Seas Initiative to develop for the benefit of Poland and the whole of Europe” – tweeted Beata Daszyńska-Muzyczka.
The Office will operate within the International Policy Bureau. It’s goal is to look at international policy issues at a full spectrum. Thanks to cooperation with experts and a wide debate it will be possible to create the best concept and also set priorities for international policy.
