The Polish Growth Fund of Funds is a joint initiative of Bank Gospodarstwa Krajowego (BGK) and the European Investment Fund (EIF). In April 2013, BGK and the EIF created a EUR 90 million fund of funds, which will build a portfolio of investments in investment funds financing enterprises in their growth or expansion phase. The aim of this initiative is to stimulate capital investment in developing companies in Poland.
In the first phase, the PGFF will be endowed with EUR 60 million from BGK and EUR 30 million from the EIF. In the future, other investors will be able to join BGK and EIF in order to maximise the effects of the PGFF.
